Volodymyr Zelenskyy says his tense meeting with Donald Trump is best left to history

Volodymyr Zelenskyy says his tense meeting with Donald Trump is best left to history

The Ukraine President has held talks with Canada and European leaders, who've agreed a support package -- days after leaving the White House without signing a rare earth minerals agreement.

Zelenskyy says he's also aware France and the UK have proposed a one-month ceasefire.

But, as translated by the BBC, he says Ukraine's ready to sign the minerals deal.

Zelenskyy says there were aspects to work through, but now they've done the last one and his ministers can sign it.
