    Police have charged two 21-year-old men over a fatal crash in Southland in February


    One person died at the scene, and eight others were seriously injured after their van rolled on State Highway Six in Winton.

    One man is charged with careless driving causing death, and seven charges of careless driving causing injury - and the other with endangering life by criminal nuisance.

    The pair will appear in the Invercargill District Court on Thursday.
