    Two people have been taken to hospital after a boat's flipped in Christchurch's Lyttelton Harbour


    The patients were seen with emergency services before 10.30 this morning, with blood over their legs.

    Canterbury Coastguard spokesperson Rachel Mackenzie says the pair were well prepared with gear and lifejackets.

    She says they were rescued near Ripapa Island.

    She says they're okay, but have a lot of scratches from rocks and their boat.
