West Coast police are asking the public to help identify a person seen on the grounds of the old Seaview Hospital, near Hokitika, shortly before it went up in flames

It was significantly damaged by fire in the early hours of Sunday.
Detective Sergeant Graham Parsons says a person was seen walking on the grounds about 3.30am.
He says officers want to identify them, and anyone else there that night.
