    The body of a 17-year-old has been found in the Waikato River after he went missing last night


    He was found by the Police National Dive Squad shortly before midday.

    Police began searching for the missing boy after receiving reports of a person entering the water towards Ngaruawahia at about quarter past five last night.

    His death will be referred to the Coroner.
