The cordon around the site of Marokopa fugitive Tom Phillips' death is set to be lifted

The cordon around the site of Marokopa fugitive Tom Phillips' death is set to be lifted

Police say their investigation of nearby campsites is nearing completion.

Herald reporter Raphael Franks is in Marokopa and says it's still not clear exactly what time the cordon it will be taken down.

He says the scene is quieter than a couple of days ago when there was a big media presence, but he's seen police coming and going in the area.
