Latest Newshub-Reid Research puts the two major parties on near matching support -- with Labour on 35.9 percent and National on 35.3.
It puts the Greens on 8.1, ACT on 10.8 percent, and Te Pati Maori on 3.5.
Hutt South National MP - Chris Bishop - says the Green Party's agenda will pull Labour more to the left, with radical policies on farming and agriculture.
