New education resources in te reo Maori are being spread through out schools

All 310 primary schools using Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are receiving structured literacy kits, numeracy workbooks and Pangarau resources.

Education Minister Erica Stanford says the resources will benefit 27-thousand students across the country.

She says schools can also use, a phonics check to keep tabs on how a child's studies are tracking, when learning through te reo Maori.
