    A fire burning at South Taranaki's Waiinu Beach since Monday afternoon is now completely contained


    Meanwhile, a vegetation fire that's burnt out 100 hectares of pine in Lismore Forest since Sunday, in rural Whanganui is now also contained.

    Fire and Emergency expects to continue clean-up at Lismore through the weekend - and return the site to its owner on Monday.
