The scene examination is continuing in New Plymouth where Police fatally shot Kaoss Price

The scene examination is continuing in New Plymouth where Police fatally shot Kaoss Price

The 22-year-old was following another vehicle in convoy along State Highway 3 on Saturday night at about 9.30.

Police stopped the first vehicle, and Price drove past, then turned back and rammed a stationary patrol car.

Further details are the subject of an ongoing investigation.

Assistant Commissioner Sandra Venables says they're hoping to have the scene examination wrapped up today or tomorrow.

She says it was a dynamic situation and the scene is rather large --andt they need to make sure they're doing a thorough job.
