    Palmerston North Police are appealing for information following a crash on Thursday


    At 4.15pm a 73-year-old woman was hit on Tremaine Avenue when a vehicle performed a U-turn.

    The car described as a blue or grey sedan, didn't stop and drove off towards Botanical Road.

    The woman received serious injuries.

    Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information should get in touch with police.
