Covid-19 cases in Masterton have been linked to a Killer Beez gang gathering

Covid-19 cases in Masterton have been linked to a Killer Beez gang gathering

Police have confirmed the gathering happened two weekends ago in the Wairarapa.

Inspector Scott Miller says it was attended by gang members in the area -- as well as some from the Lower North and upper south Island.

So far, there have been two cases found in Masterton

Our newsroom understands one of the cases is the daughter of a senior Killer Beez leader.

A post on Facebook says the two cases were at a convention in Woodville, and also attended a tangi in Martinborough over three to four days last week.
