    One gang member has appeared in court, and four others are due in court over the coming days, following a violent gang brawl in Hawke's Bay


    Several people were injured when the fight broke out after a rugby game between Tapuae Sports Club and YMP in Wairoa last weekend.

    At least two people were stabbed, and two were allegedly run over with a vehicle.

    A 32-year-old man has already appeared in court , a 21-year-old man is due in court today, and three other men are due in court tomorrow.

    Police say investigations are continuing, with a senior Mongrel Mob leader is among the five men arrested.
