    A dramatic Police chase in Palmerston North yesterday - with shots fired at officers - has landed three young men in court


    A driver of a car - understood to be stolen - fled Police in Awapuni around midday, with shots fired through Highbury.

    The Armed Offenders Squad found three fully loaded cut-down guns in the car, and took three men aged 18, 20, and 22 into custody.

    Police say they're grateful no one was was hurt.

    The men are due before the Palmerston North District Court today.
