A rahui's been placed of parts of the Manawatu River as police continue to look for a missing man

A member of the Defence Force fell in while walking his dog near Palmerston North's Ahimate Reserve.

The rahui's been applied between where the Turitea Stream enters the Manawatu River and where the Oroua River enters the river at Puketotara.

Today's search has been stood down and will resume tomorrow.
