    Police have confirmed the driver of a van that collided with a truck south of Picton yesterday is among the seven people who died


    The two survivors of the crash on State Highway 1 about 7.30 in the morning remain in Wellington Hospital - one in a serious condition and the other serious but stable.

    The Pukekohe family was returning home, from a funeral in Dunedin.

    Police say they will continue assisting the coroner, supporting the victims of the crash and their first responders.
