    Nelson Police are still after information relating to an ongoing homicide investigation


    48-year-old James Whitikau Barton was found with critical injuries at an Orchard Street address in Stoke around 7 on Friday evening, and later died in hospital.

    Scene and post-mortem examinations have both been completed.

    Officers say those involved are believed to be known to each other.

    They want to hear from anyone who has a white BMW X5 station wagon, registration BMW693.

    An increased police presence will remain in the area over the coming days.
