Fonterra has delayed the date for reporting its audited financial results

Fonterra has delayed the date for reporting its audited financial results

The reporting date has been delayed from 12 September to no later than 30 September.

Fonterra says more time is required to complete the audited statements, because of the significant accounting adjustments required this year.

It says the change of date is unrelated to any discussions ongoing with the Financial Markets Authority.

Fonterra says the delay won't affect its ability to operate or pay its bills, including paying farmers for their milk.
