    Geordie Beamish has qualified for the Athletics World Championships and the Paris Olympics by breaking the 39-year-old New Zealand and Oceania 3000-metre steeplechase record at the Monaco Diamond League


    The Kiwi's placed fourth with a time of eight minutes, 13.2 seconds.
