Corbin Strong has pipped Dylan Kennett for a place in New Zealand's track cycling world championship team

Corbin Strong has pipped Dylan Kennett for a place in New Zealand's track cycling world championship team

High performance director Martin Barras say Strong's earned the spot on the basis of the skills he brought to the team with his World Cup performances.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has offered Andy Ruiz Junior a path back towards a title fight.

Hearn says they've put a contract in front of Ruiz to fight British heavyweight Dillian Whyte - in a bout that could propel either to another title.

Black Ferns sevens representative Portia Woodman has been ruled out of next weekend's World Series tournament in Hamilton, and the following tournament in Sydney.

Woodman continues to rehabilitate after rupturing her Achilles tendon in November 2018.

Crusaders coach Scott Robertson appears to have settled on Jack Goodhue and Braydon Ennor as his preferred midfield combination ahead of the new Super Rugby season after Ryan Crotty's exit.
