The opening of two bridges over Auckland's Northern Motorway will finish the last link of a cycling and walking route

The opening of two bridges over Auckland's Northern Motorway will finish the last link of a cycling and walking route

Transport Minister Michael Wood says The Northcote Safe Cycling Route will expand the city wide cycling and walking network.

The bridges across the Northern Motorway at the Northcote Road on and off ramps, offer a separated shared path on either side of the over bridge.

The $26 million dollar project was co-funded by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency.
