A cycling advocate says pointless attacks against Wellington bikers won't work

Over the weekend someone put tacks on the Adelaide Road cycle lane -- puncturing the tyres of some bikes.

Wellington City Council says it's a serious issue not just due to the cost of repairs, but also the safety concerns it creates.

Patrick Morgan doubts anything he says will deter the person who did it -- but says they should look in the mirror.
