    Kiwi BMX whiz kid Rico Bearman is feeling an extra boost from the home track advantages ahead of the BMX Racing World Cup in Rotorua


    The Under-23 world champion is making the step up to race in the Elite Men's level this weekend - having originally planned to race the Under-23 category.

    Bearman says learning on new tracks around the world means he knows there's not too much to be had from having home advantage - but every per cent counts.



    Fellow Under-23 racer Megan Williams is also racing in her respective Elite Women's category this weekend.
