Ongoing industrial action is expected to affect those heading to tonight's Blues vs Brumbies Super Rugby semi-final at Auckland's Eden Park

Trains have been running at a reduced timetable for more than a week.

Auckland Transport says ticket-holders will get free train and bus travel from 3.30pm, and special event buses will be running between Eden Park and Britomart after the game.

However, it's warning people to plan ahead and allow extra time to get where they need to go.
