    Hopes poor performance in the dairy sector won't stick around, as figures show profits down 27 percent


    Dairy farmers have taken a hit over the 2022 - 23 year, with a report showing operating expenses up, and milksolids profits dipping.

    But Mark Neal, Head of Data Science at Dairy NZ he's hopeful things are on the up.

    He says farmer sentiment has improved over the past six months, but as economic challenges continue, they remain cautious
