The boss of Waitomo Gas expects a hike to fuel prices over the next week as conflict in the Middle East continues

Crude oil and gasoline prices are soaring as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, choking oil supply.
Waitomo Gas Chief Executive Simon Parham says the conflicts had a big impact, with some gas-stations already nearing three-dollars for 91 gasoline.
He says Waitomo gas prices will probably rise around 5-10 cents a litre for 91, and diesel about 15-20 cents in the next week.
