Jacinda Ardern denies businesses and middle New Zealand have missed out in the Budget

The Prime Minister has spoken after a tour of the City Mission in Wellington.

She says businesses have been given help to pivot following Covid, through the wage subsidy and funding for digital training.

Ardern says the best thing the government can do for New Zealand is to create jobs, and keep people healthy.

She says she constantly hears from New Zealanders that they want everyone to do well, and says people from all walks of life often raise the issue of poverty with her.
