The Reserve Bank Governor admits the central bank's 'not in a great place'

Adrian Orr has addressed concerns about rising inflation and the house price bubble in a presentation to the International Monetary Fund. He stopped short of conceding to criticism from some quarters that central banks applied too much stimulus in response to Covid -- as inflation surges.

Instead, he puts it down to persistent supply constraints -- and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
