New Consumer NZ research has found they've given out 22.6-billion dollars in loans...and are ranked number five behind ANZ, ASB, Westpac and BNZ

Fourteen percent of families surveyed financially supported their kids to buy a property, with an average contribution of 108-thousand dollars.

Three out of five parents don't expect to be repaid.
