The cost of more than 100 supermarket goods are being cut ten per cent, for three months

Foodstuff's announced discounts will begin on Monday in New World, PAK'nSAVE, and Four Square stores ? in a bid to ease rising costs for shoppers - absorbing the discounts themselves.

The Herald's Tamsyn Parker says it comes as supermarkets are already under pressure.
