A strong training camp has boxer David Nyika believing he's in prime position to become a world champion in the cruiserweight division

The unbeaten fighter challenges IBF titleholder Jai Opetaia on the Gold Coast this evening.

Nyika is relieved to have come through his preparations unscathed and feels he's done enough to be ready for the Australian southpaw.

The main card begins at 9pm, with Nyika set to walk to the ring around midnight or later.
