Jackson Page has become the first snooker player to make a maximum 147 break twice in one match as he took a step closer to qualifying for the world championships which start at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre on Saturday.

The 23-year-old Welshman completed the feat across two days in a 10 frames to two win on the baize.

The achievement has secured him a 330 thousand dollar bonus and a place in the final round of qualifiers.
