World golf number one Scottie Scheffler feels in better shape to attack the US Open this year than last, in the tough test of Oakmont in Pennsylvania

World golf number one Scottie Scheffler feels in better shape to attack the US Open this year than last, in the tough test of Oakmont in Pennsylvania

Scheffler didn't play the Canadian Open won by Ryan Fox over the weekend, but won the weekend before at The Memorial.

He also won that tournament last year but there was no week off between that and the US Open in 2024 - where he limped to a 41st finish at Pinehurst.

    Scheffler feels in promising touch.
