    Former Wallabies coach John Connolly believes world rugby is in the strongest state it's ever been


    The newly-formed Nations Championship will launch next year with the 12 best teams across the northern and southern hemispheres facing each during the July and November international windows.

    Connolly says the top five ranked teams - South Africa, New Zealand, England, Ireland, France - have contributed to test rugby's growth.
