    A return to the Blues after 11 seasons for Pita Ahki was made possible thanks to Reiko Ioane


    Ahki played a season for the Blues back in 20-14 and the 33-year-old has been plying his trade in French rugby, winning seven trophies in seven seasons for Toulouse .

    With All Black Ioane on sabbatical at Leinster in Ireland, a homecoming became a reality.



    Ahki adds he's happy to play anywhere in the backline except wing or halfback.
