An unexpected farewell from his French legion of fans was a special moment to Pita Ahki

An unexpected farewell from his French legion of fans was a special moment to Pita Ahki

The 33-year-old Ahki has spent seven seasons in France with Toulouse winning five French Top 14 and two European titles in his time for the Les Rouge et Noir (The Red and Blacks).

Ahki is excited to return home to the Blues, who he played for back in 20-14.

He adds that the main difference for him was the amount of games they play in the Northern Hemisphere compared to Super Rugby.
