The professional playing days of former Crusaders and All Blacks halfback Andy Ellis could be drawing to a close

The 36-year-old says he won't be featuring again for the Steelers in Japan.

He will only head back to empty his apartment, although he's available to help with leadership work.

But Ellis says he's not completely ready to retire.

Ellis won't rule out putting on his University jersey again either, although that depends on whether they'd want him to train on both Tuesdays and Thursdays.
