The NRL is aiming to have fans attending games by the start of July

The season will resume behind closed doors on Thursday when the Broncos tackle the Eels doors in Brisbane

ARL Commission boss Peter V'landys syas the goal is to gradually build the numbers - with members and sponsors given priority.

Meanwhile Roosters captain Boyd Cordner is dismissing claims this year's title won't carry the prestige of previous campaigns.

The Roosters will restart their season against the Rabbitohs on Friday - without a win after the first two rounds.

Cordner says it will be a tough journey for whichever team goes the distance.
