    Dixon is on pole for next week's Indianapolis 500 - the 20th time he'll compete in the race


    He was quickest through the top-12 qualifying stage - giving him the advantage of running last in the top-six shoot out.

    He blitzed the field with the second fastest average speed across four laps in race history.

    Dixon's started on pole at Indy on four occasions, resulting in a win in 2008, fourth, 32nd and 17th.
