Warriors hooker Wayde Egan has reacted to his name being thrust into the conversation for State of Origin selection

The New South Wales and Queensland squads are set to be named after this week's round, ahead of the opening game later this month.

Egan is among the contenders for the Blues' dummy-half role, and says he'd be honoured to be involved.

Meanwhile co-captain James Fisher-Harris and winger Roger Tuivasa-Sheck will both be named the Warriors' NRL lineup to battle the Dolphins in Brisbane this weekend, after recovering from injuries.
