Hospitalised league star Jarome Luai is likely to be available for the upcoming State of Origin decider in Sydney

Hospitalised league star Jarome Luai is likely to be available for the upcoming State of Origin decider in Sydney

The New South Wales five-eighth is on the mend after missing the Tigers' 28-10 loss to Manly.

Luai was ruled out on the morning of the game due to an infection that turned feverish and requirement hospitalisation.

The Tigers' loss marked their sixth in a row, with coach Benji Marshall conceding his team had taken a step backwards after several close defeats.

The Raiders are now top of the table after beating the Knights 22-18.
