A sigh of relief for Liverpool manager Arne Slot after a frenetic finish to their 2-1 Premier League football win over Tottenham

A sigh of relief for Liverpool manager Arne Slot after a frenetic finish to their 2-1 Premier League football win over Tottenham

The visitors held off Spurs as tempers flared in London - the home side reduced to 10 men in second half added time when Cristian Romero was sent off after copping a second yellow card.

    Slot has mixed emotions.

Liverpool go level with fourth-placed Chelsea, who came from two down to draw 2-all with Newcastle.

Manchester City beat West Ham 3-nil to take top spot for the time being from Arsenal, who have a 1-nil lead at halftime away to Everton.
