Epsom's MP wants Brian Tamaki booted from Mount Eden prison and away from his electorate

The Act Party leader was involved in a stoush with followers of the Destiny Church leader yesterday, who are protesting outside the facility.

Tamaki has been remanded at Mount Eden prison since Monday, on charges of breaching lockdown rules.

Seymour says he approached Tamaki's supporters on behalf of his constituents - who he says have complained about the protest's noise.

The Freedoms and Rights Coalition's now released claims on social media, accusing Seymour of being aggressive toward Hannah Tamaki.

Seymour says at this rate, Tamaki should be shifted to Spring Hill Prison.

He says it would allow the pilgrims to protest for the apostle in a big field - away from where they are harming others.
