An ANZ system outage which caused some customers issues with logging into the bank's app and internet banking has now been resolved

Customers were asked to avoid using the platforms, as too many people were trying to log in at the same time.

A spokesperson says the problem was resolved at 2.30pm, but some customers may have still experienced slight issues as the backlog was cleared.
