The Reserve Bank has offered a window into the future of building wealth through home ownership

The Reserve Bank has offered a window into the future of building wealth through home ownership

It predicts changes to the tax system, zoning and slowing population growth mean the housing market isn't going to be as strong.

Reserve Bank Chief Economist Paul Conway says believes it will be more difficult to increase wealth through housing.

He forecasts while talented investors will figure out a way to make it profitable, for most people it'll be a lot harder to make money out of property.
