The The Finance Minister's promising no nonsense - in Thursday's Budget

The The Finance Minister's promising no nonsense - in Thursday's Budget

Nicola Willis says the financial plans lay out sensible decisions needed to secure New Zealand's future.

She's contrasting it with what she's termed inconsistency from Labour, and last week's Green Budget - which would introduce new taxes like a wealth and inheritance tax.

Willis says there has been all sorts of chaos on the Opposition's side, in terms of how they would manage the books -- but the Government's offering a no-BS Budget that sticks to sensible things New Zealanders need.
