    The young, and heavy users, are most likely to suffer negative health effects from cannabis


    A Royal Society Te Aparangi report has explored the mental and physical damage caused by the drug.

    The Christchurch health and development study director, Associate Professor Joe Boden, says that means parents interested in using cannabis medicinally for children - need to discuss it with a doctor.

    He says it's something that young people should be really careful with.
