    Government investment in mental health is just a drop in the bucket for Canterbury


    The Maia Health Foundation is fundraising to build for a new outpatient facility for child and youth mental health in Christchurch -- which missed out on recent funding.

    CEO Michael Flatman says our health infrastructure has holes that need patching.

    He says despite tens of millions being pumped into the region's facilities -- more is needed to make the spaces fit for purpose.
