Two thousand people are said to benefit from funding for a game-changing Osteoporosis medicine

Two thousand people are said to benefit from funding for a game-changing Osteoporosis medicine

Pharmac's increasing access to Denosumab , which helps strengthen bones, stopping fractures and maintaining good blood calcium levels.

The self-administered injectable is currently taken by 500 Kiwis, with two thousand more expected to start using it in its first year of funding.

It's thanks to the Government's medicine budget increase announced in June last year.
