    Non-urgent patients are being warned to expect delays in emergency departments today because of senior doctors and dentists strikes


    The strikes are taking place today and tomorrow due to failed pay negotiations.

    Health New Zealand's Richard Sullivan says they're now seeking support from the Employment Relations Authority.

    He says not knowing the expectations of the senior doctors union is tricky, and believes Health NZ put a reasonable offer on the table.
